Jenna Kemmerer
Jenna is the Center Director at KinderCare, Penn Drive. She started her early childhood career with KinderCare and never left! She's been with the company for 12 wonderful years and has worked her way up to where she is today. In 2001 she started as an Aide, assisting in any room for the KinderCare site on 17th Street. Once she obtained her degree and had some more experience under her belt, she became their Prekindergarten teacher and then became the Assistant Director at that site. She held that position until about 2007 when she transferred to the KinderCare on Penn Drive. She's worn many hats for KinderCare in her years here and has loved every minute.

Ms. Elaine
<p><!--block-->Ms. Elaine joined KinderCare in April of 2014 and became our lead Preschool teacher in June, 2014. Born in Washington, DC, Elaine spent time also living in Maryland and then England until she returned home (USA) in 2013. She completed her high school education in Maryland and went on to Anne Arundel Community College and Towson State University, studying Psychology and Sociology. She completed her Level 4 Early Years Certificate in 2007 and gained her Foundation Degree in Early Years in 2013 through the Open University in Milton Keynes, England. Additionally, she gained a Level 4 qualification in Nursery Management in 2006. In Ms. Elaine's spare time she loves scrap booking & card-making, reading, walking and cross stitching. She has three beautiful grown children and one gorgeous granddaughter who was born in September 2013, just one day after she returned from England! In 2017 she stepped into our Assistant Director position after teaching our preschoolers for a few years. She looks forward to meeting your family and can't wait to have you a part of ours!</p>

Ms. Krystal
<p><!--block-->Ms. Krystal has worked at KinderCare since February 2009. Prior to working with children, she always knew that's what she wanted to do with her life. In high school, Ms. Krystal attended the Vocational Technical School to study Early Childhood Education and began a co-op at a daycare facility. She then worked at a few other facilities prior to joining the KinderCare team. Since her employment here, Ms. Krystal has attended Ellis University to obtain her Child Development Associate's Credential and is currently obtaining her associate degree in Early Childhood. She has three children - Gaige, 6, Juliahnna, 3 and Jojo 14. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things to do is visit amusement parks, play board games with her family and of course... go shopping!</p>

Ms. Andrea
<p><!--block-->Ms. Andrea has worked for KinderCare since 2012, however, her experience in caring for children extends back much further than that. She has been babysitting as well as volunteering weekends with the Lehigh Valley Miracle League for seven years. This past May, Andrea graduated Clarion University with a bachelor of art in Education and English. While there, she both co-founded and tutored at 537 Clarion Learning Workshop where she aided in after-school homework help; specifically for students who may have or were diagnosed with IEP's. At the Pittsburgh KinderCare, Ms. Andrea offered yoga classes once a week to her students. She truly believes that the earlier children learn about healthy nutrition and fun exercises, the more value they'll gather out of education and life! At our center, Ms. Andrea can be found anywhere being awesome with any age group! We've been lucky enough to see Andrea grow into the amazing young woman she is-- as her younger sister attended our center for years! There was no question when she applied to join our team that we would hire her in a heartbeat.</p>

Ms. LuAnne
Ms. LuAnne is our AMAZING center chef and she enjoys creating new dishes for the children to try. She was born and raised in good ole PA and has 3 grown sons and grandchildren that bring her much joy. Ms. LuAnne has studied Reiki and alternative healing for over 15 years and at one time worked in an animal shelter with the hopes to one day be a "foster home" for dogs who need a home and lots of love. The children get so very excited to see Ms. LuAnne enter their classroom with their yummy food!! She can also be found throughout the center in classrooms at the end of the day as well... the children and families adore her!
